I enjoyed this.
The tension was great.

Thank you! Lyrics are written and a full vocal version will be out for the final release.

It's chiptune. Makes me sad about 8 bit collective.
CHIPTUNE!~@!~
I'd never heard of 8bc before. Looks like it will only make me sad.
CHIPTUNE IS THE BEST GENRE. ALL HAIL.
Having fun with the panning on those strings huh? It's a fun thing to mess with. I liked it. Also If i am discerning it correctly I think I heard a choir synth. Nice layering.
IT'S SO MUCH FUN I CAN'T HELP MYSELF.
Good stuff. I felt a bit more excited to listen to this one from you when I saw it because my latest upload was actually created with a similar goal. Those woodwinds with that.. multi oscillator(maybe) analog sound was really enjoyable.
Thanks man. Yeah, it's really easy to end up obsessing over melodies for a long time. Even as I relisten to this I start thinking about how I should have moved certain ideas around or changed things. And then I'll have those awesome moments where I'll sketch out an entire awesome melody in like 2 seconds and just need to clean it up a little. Songwriting is really interesting.
I enjoyed listening to this but I have to admit I didn't enjoy it as much as your previous stuff.
I think it's because you prefer my more 'fun' pieces and this one is pretty serious. It's also possibly because I might be a little better at fun pieces. And what is actually probably the real reason: When I was writing the solo in seething (for instance) I pretty much didn't think about it and wrote it all in one go. In this solo it took me a long time to calculate it out and do exactly what I 'thought' it should do... and music is one of those things where intuition usually beats out calculation.
You always make fun stuff. I enjoy listening.
Hah! I can't believe someone has listened to enough of my songs to make generalizations about them! This is the best day ever!
It sure is adrenaline pumping but if I force myself to be picky that hihat kind of felt off.
I'm a person who doesn't know how a drum set should sound like, so I just played around with highs and lows. That's sort of how I make my music. FL Studio is that flexible imo.
I liked the beat but I think it would sound real wicked with a really thick crunchy saw over it really thin with not much reverb to really pierce through the mix.
well, can I ask you? For what belongs that thick crunchy saw? bass, lead or something like that?
I perceived it as very funky XD also was that a wicked amount of portamento or were you just doing a pitch bend on the bassline.
I liked it :]
Just a really fast pitch bend. Thanks for the review :)
This is really fun. Bass was a bit muddy on my headphones though but that's probably on purpose.
Argh. No, it's because I suck at eq-ing bass. Working on it. Thanks for the review.
